The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted final approval to a $9.75 million class action settlement that will put between $116 and $232 into the pockets of nearly 40,000 class members. Plaintiffs alleged that Defendants violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by using prerecorded voice calls to advertise to individuals without their consent. The settlement also requires defendant Fluent, Inc. to change its business practices.
Beth Terrell, Amanda Steiner, and Jennifer Murray from Terrell Marshall teamed with able co-counsel Ted Broderick, Anthony Paronich, Matthew McCue, Matt Wessler, Jon Fougner, and Michael Ram to obtain this excellent result for the plaintiffs and class members.
