On February 3, 2015, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington granted final approval to a class action settlement reached in Taylor v. Universal Auto Group I, Inc. The lawsuit alleged that Tacoma Dodge violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Washington’s Automatic Dialing and Announcing Device (WADAD) by hiring a vendor to robocall customers. The settling defendants have agreed to provide Certificates for oil changes worth $60 to all class members. Certificate holders also may redeem the Certificates for $35 cash by making a claim through this website or mail. The plaintiff and class members are represented by Beth Terrell and Jennifer Rust Murray of Terrell Marshall Law Group PLLC.
