Buried in the Fine Print: A Special Investigative Report on Arbitration

April 06, 2016

Many consumer contracts, from cellphones to hotel rooms to credit cards, contain arbitration clauses forcing you to take complaints to an arbitrator instead of a judge. Last month, Al Jazeera America aired ‘Buried in the Fine Print,’ a special investigative report on the dangers of forced arbitration. The program, which features Public Justice Foundation’s executive director Paul Bland, highlights just a few examples of how arbitration affects consumers, employees, and others. If you missed the full program when it originally aired, watch it here.
