About this Case:
Julius Terrell applied to work for Costco by submitting an online application. As part of the application process, Costco ordered a background report on Mr. Terrell. But Costco failed to provide Mr. Terrell with a stand-alone disclosure before it obtained the background report on him. Mr. Terrell therefore brought claims on behalf of himself and all others similarly situated for violations of t Fair Credit Reporting Act.
On June 15, 2018, the King County Superior Court granted final approval of a $2.49 million settlement.
