Terrell Marshall Law Group PLLC is investigating claims regarding Kia Motors America Inc. and the Hyundai Motor Company for allegedly failing to disclose to consumers that Kia Sorento model year 2002–2009 motor vehicles are predisposed to have the front pulley balancer bolt (aka crankshaft bolt) snap.

We believe the crankshaft pulley bolt problem may cause:

  • catastrophic engine power train failure

  • severe heat buildup, loss of steering control

  • loss of brake control while being driven

  • loss of power while being driven

  • And/or hazardous accident potential and metal debris

This problem makes the vehicle a hazard to owners and other individuals who may be in harm’s way. If you own or owned a Kia Sorento with a defective power train engine crankshaft pulley bolt, we would like to speak with you.
