About this Case:

Terrell Marshall Law Group has filed suit against AllianceOne Receivables Management, Inc. (AllianceOne) on behalf of Washington consumers in connection with Defendant’s attempts to collect debts arising from returned checks. Plaintiffs Margaret L. Dibb, Shauna Ovist, and Wendy Gondos allege that AllianceOne violated the law by sending Notice of Dishonor of Check (NOD) form letters that include a threat of criminal prosecution, that shorten the time for responding that is required by state law, and that fails to include effective notices required by state and federal law.

This case was filed on October 20, 2014. On December 16, 2015, the class and two subclasses were certified. The Honorable Robert J. Bryan approved Plaintiffs’ Proposed Class Certification Notice Plan on January 19, 2016. Class members will have until June 23, 2016 to opt out of this class action.
