About this Case:
Plaintiff Jonathan Gehrich alleged that the Defendant Chase Bank USA (“Chase”) called him numerous times on his cellular telephone using predictive dialing equipment and a prerecorded voice, looking for a debtor other than Mr. Gehrich. The calls persisted even after Mr. Gehrich repeatedly told Chase that it was calling the wrong person and asked them to stop calling. Such actions are in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. Section 227 (“TCPA”).
This case was filed on July 12, 2012. The parties reached an agreement to settle the case in 2015, and that settlement became final in March 2016. Checks have been mailed to all eligible claimants.
